REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK SEPT. 22, 1913---W.W. PROSSER. HARRY DE COE: "The man with the tables and chairs". A very dressy and meritorious equilibristic offering. Made a very good opening. Held attention throughout and finished strong. C.D.F. in 3, 8 minutes. (Cincinnati) JULIA CURTIS: "The Original Mimic". This young woman has a line of songs and animal imitations. Some of her work is pretty fair. As it was, she received a meager amount of applause and failed to score any finish at all. Olio in 1, 7 minutes. (Louisville) JOE COOK: "The One-Man Vaudeville Show". He did very well throughout with a lot of "nut" comedy. Finished strong. Olio and two Specials in 1, 12 minutes. (Baltimore) CARL HENRY & NELLIE FRANCIS: In "Just Nonsense" A Very acceptable variety number which went very big throughout. IT was in fact, the first genuine hit of the bill. Had them laughing most of the time and finished very strong. Street in 1, 17 minutes. (Louisville) JULIA NASH & CO: Two women and one man in a comedy playlet, "Her First Case" This is a very good act of its kind, being thoroughly interesting throughout and very capably presented. Miss Nash and her co-workers all did well and there was a good strong finish. C.D.F. in 3, 16 minutes. (Toledo) LeBALLET CLASSIQUE: Featuring Mlle Domina Marini and Marcel Bronski, with six girls in the chorus. This is an excellent act of its kind and it held strictest attention throughout, but at no time did it win any great amount of applause. The style of dancing is, possibly not well enough known here to meet with general approval. The act, however, is thoroughly pleasing and should prove of value on the bill. Quite a good finish was scored. Wood in 5, 17 minutes. (Buffalo) TROVATO: Wellknown artist who did fine throughout. They were a little backward at first but he soon got hold of them and had easy sailing to a strong finish. Olio in 1, 24 min. (Indianapolis) ROSSOW MIDGETS: Wellknown diminutive boxers and athletes who did very well as closers. They have been here quite frequently which took the edge off things to some extent. Good finish, however. Garden in 4, 7 min. (Louisville) Pathe Weekly O. K
