R.S ROBBINS WASHINGTON SHOW OCTOBER, 6, 1913. PAUL LA CROIX 8 min. In One. very clever hat juggling act. artist assisted by attractive female drummer. Mr. La Croix worked hard and received fair amount of applause. MCMAHON, DIAMOND AND CLEMENCE. Opens in one, close two. 14 min. Mcmahon, Diamond and Clemence scored heavily with their oddity "The Scare-Crow". Mr. Diamon and Miss Mcmahon dance cleverly and Miss Clemence sings well. THREE KEATONS 17 min. F.S. went big here continous laughter and big hands thruout. EVA SHIRLEY 11 min. In One. Dainty vocalist, pleased immensely with her vocal gymnastics. Much applaused at finish. FLORENCE ROBERTS & CO. 22 min. F.S. In "The woman intervenes" A remarkable high class tabloid comedy-drama. A bachelor is from the result of indiscreit attentions to a married woman by the intervention of a former sweetheart. Miss Robert work has distinctly high-class and her support equally good. The act was thoroly appreciated and received much applause at the finish. INTERMISSION. CHAS. AND FANNY VAN. 16 min. In One. An act of originality and real comedy. Kept audience in uproar. CECIL LEAN AND CO. 21 min. F.S. contributed and delightful act, clean and sparkling thruout, sharing with Miss Robert & Co. the chief honors of the afternoon. The songs were especially clever and the skit on the talking movies great. This act got lots of applause. DAINTY MARIE 17 min. Open in one, close F.S. Miss Marie was the thrill of the performance, her work on the rings being sensational; her personality is very pleasing and her original dressing brought her splendid notices and should help the receipts. Right and heels of Roberts and Lean in sharing honors of the performance. KINEMACOLOR. 17 min. "The Better Success" Beautiful picture of a threadbare story, but too
