One of the best dog acts that we have ever played. Work 15 minutes in center door fancy Ideas are very clever, and the work ggod, the dogs behaving perfectly. Act opens with one ember announcing that the other is sick and that he will have to wor k alone. This gag is very old. At this point the other man member of the act dressed as a stage hand offers to assist him, and his offer is accepted. They then proceed to sing, dance, and play the piano, and one-string violin, made from a cigar box. Went fair at matinee. Went good at night. Mlle. Rialto. A singing and posing novelty"The Artist's Dream" Set very prettily in center door fancy, the frame in which the poses are made being in the center door. The man sings, while the girl illustrates his songs by poses. The Songs are as follows. 1. There's a Girl In The Heart Of Maryland. 2. Castellano. 3. The Rosary. 4. Last Night Was The End Of The World. The act ends with a pose of "Rock of Ages",which is very pretty. Went fair at matinee, and night. Bobbie Heath and Florrie Millership. Work in one. Two men and one woman. One of the men plays the piano very well. Mr. Heath and MIss Millership do the singing dancing, amd comedy talking. Miss Millership is a very nimble dancer. Very good act. A hit at matinee, and a riot at night. The man was forced to make a sppech, and even then the audience was not satisfied. Report on acts playing The Scenic Temple, week Of October 15,1913. Seen by C.L.McNally. Eva Prout. Work 14 minutes in one. She does three songs dressed as a boy. Close with song and dance in dresses. Pretty costumes. Fair singer. Went fair. Selman and Arden. Dramatic sketch entitled"The Tables Turned" Man and woman. Act is very good, but did not get ove,as few acts of its kind do unless they are unusually good. Full st age,18 minutes. Mrs. Otto Feichtl's Tyrolean Troubadours. Four women, and one man. Singing in English and Swiss, and some yodelig Good singers and yodelers. Costumes pretty. Act closes with Tyrolean Native Dance. Setting is beautiful, representing mountains in background, and cottage on left. Full stage,17 minutes.Act would go over better if the finish is improved,as the audience does not seem to know that the act is over, and that it is time to applaud.Even with the poor finish,it goes over good. Heath and Millership. Still going good, with a somewhat changed act.
