B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of Oct. 26th, 1913. John F. Royal. LANDRY BROS. 7 min. F.S. Garden. Two good looking clever boys in a graceful and neat athletic aerial act. This proved a splendid opening for this show. Strong closing. LOUISVILLE. VAN BROS. 15 min. in One. Special Drop. Two men in talking and musical act. This act started off slow, but worked up enthusiasm as they went along, getting good laughs, and they closed well. LOUISVILLE. GRANT AND HOAG 17 min. in One. Special. Man and woman in talking and singing act. This well known act did not please our audience. Went flat all the way, and simply because the people at this house did not care for the act at all. Grant's singing did not please them as well as his comedy of recent visits. No applause at the finish. GRAND RAPIDS. WILFRED CLARKE AND COMPANY 14 min. F.S. C.D.F. Two men and two women in a new sketch by Mr. Clarke, "A Wife for an Hour". While this sketch is funny in spots, it is not as good as the previous Wilfred Clarke sketches, still it pleased. LOUISVILLE. CHRIS RICHARDS 11 min. in One. Olio. Eccentric English acrobatic dancing. This man went on in a weak condition, as he is quite ill, and, considering this, gave a splendid performance. Got good laughs and finished strong. LOUISVILLE. FRITZI SCHEFF 20 min. Sunday Matinee. 14 min. Sunday Night, and 11 min. Monday afternoon. Miss Scheff suffered because of a weak show before her. The people did not enthuse over her singing, until she sang "Kiss Me Again", which she made a part of her regular program, instead of an encore, because on Sunday night she received no encore. Monday afternoon she went very well, as the audience is more of her style. Wears beautiful gowns, and is assisted by Eugene Bernstein, an artistic accompanist. Miss Scheff will probably draw some business. PITTSBURG. JOE COOKE AND BRO. 14 min. in One. Special Drop. Novel talking act, giving one man vaudeville show, and then juggling in front of a very funny special drop. This is the only act on the bill that could hold this spot, and went very good considering. Under ordinary circumstances this act would be further up on the bill. Mr. Cooke worked hard, and got over very well under the circumstances. INDIANAPOLIS. BOY SCOUTS 9 min. F.S. Land. A drilling act which suffered, as two boys were out because of illness. Nothing out of the ordinary, and the audience did not stay in. CHICAGO. Local Pictures Interesting. CUTS Grant and Hoag "Damn". NOTE -- This show is twenty-five minutes short.
