[notebook page number] 124 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICH. Week Beginning Dec. 22nd. THE THREE MILLETES: Three young men who do an exceedingly clever acrobatic turn. They do their work with a briskness that makes it go with a snap. 8 minutes full stage. O. K. SATO: "The foolish juggler." He pleases his audiences. I4 minutes in 2. "MIYO SAN:" A very pretty one-act American-Japanese opera. Four persons are employed in its interpretation--one man and three women. The scenery, all of which is carried for the production, is beautiful and rich and the costumes are expensive and artistic. The acting and singing are very good. 24 minutes full stage. JENNIE YEAMANS: Singing comedienne. Her costumes are particularly fine. She was called back three times and could have returned as many more had she desired to do so. I3 minutes in I. KLEIN, OTT-BROTHERS AND NICKERSON: Musical artists. A capital act and one that pleases. Their cornet and trombone work is the feature o the turn. I5 minutes full stage, 3 minutes in I. WORMWOOD'S MONKEY THEATER: This animal act is one of the leaders. It contains more trained animals than any other turn that has ever played this theater. Its comedy features are unmatched. 23 minutes [?full?] stage. 3 minutes in I. MERVILLE, BOOTH & ELMORE: Presenting the sketch entitled "The Two Juliets." Its laugh-producing qualities are first class. Its players are capable artists who extract from it every atom of merit that it contains. I6 minutes full stage. CLARICE VANCE: Singing comedienne. This artist needs no introduction. As a purveyor of coon melodies she has no superior. I0 minutes in I. LOTTIE BRANDON: "Looping the Loop." This is a sensational act that momentarily stops their hearts. It is a big hit. 8 minutes full stage.
