Tim Cronin. This act has played over the circuit before and does not need discussion. I do not think he is worth what he is getting and is not strong enough for the place I am obliged to give him on the bill, although he must still be reckoned as a good act. Opens and closes in one, the middle of his act being in two. 20 min. 2 shows.
St. Onge Brothers. Comedy cyclists. Now days bicycle acts have got to be really great or they are nothing, and while these fellows do some things that a few years ago might have been considered wonderful they are by no means up to the times now. The comedy work is very ordinary and they do no very startling tricks on the wheels. From a standpoint of two shows and salary, fairly good, is the best I can give them. 15 min. full stage.
Bioscope. This machine, of course, in no way compares with the Biograph, as far as clearness of picture, lighting & vibration is concerned, but we are getting some very good trick pictures, and in my mind they fully off-set the short comings. If we can keep up as good pictures as they are sending us this week, it will be all right.
