Hudson Theatre, Union Hill, Week of Sept. 16th. Jos. R. Smith. Four Newsomes--- Two men and two women in a neatly dressed acrobatic act with several head balancing stunts. Good opener. F.S. Time 9 Min. Olympic Comedy Four--- Four men, two straight, one blackface and the other a tragedian. They possess fair voices and have an acceptable line of comedy that went fairly good. Fair act for number two. Time 15 Min. in one. Charles Leonard Fletcher--- Delineator of well know persona of the present day, and characters from fictional literature and history with appropriate remarks for each appearance. He makes complete change in full view of the audience. Went good at both shows. Open in one for 10 min. Time of act 27 Min. Lancton-Lucier Co.--- Two men and one woman assisted by property boy in "Heaps pf Hilarity". Fairly good songs and dances with a line of clean comedy that went well at both performances. C.D.F. Time 17 Min. Intermission. Tony Hunting and Corinne Francis--- Presenting their comedy skit "The Love Lozenges". She is a nicely dressed girl with a sweet voice and received big hand for her rendition of two songs. Hunting has some good comedy which with his dancing earned him good hands at both shows. Time 17 Min. in one. A Caruso Grand Opera Company--- Seven men and a woman in an Italian operetta, "The Force of Destiny". Men are uniformed as soldiers and officers and the woman is dressed in the garb of a nun. Scene of a convent in the midst of a forest. This piece furnishes the cast and excellent vehicle for their voices. Although they sing in Italian they went good at both performances. As there is a big Italian settlement in this section I expect some good business. Time F.S. 19 Min. Bert Fitzgibbon--- This well known comedian is a favorite at this house and proved a riot at both shows. Time 21 Min. in one. Four Provosts--- Four men in a comedy acrobatic and knockabout turn, "Fun in a Turkish Bath" which went well at both performances. Made a good closing number. Special scene in three representing interior of a Turkish bath. Time 10 Min. Photoplane --- Satisfactory.
