4 B. F,. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, G. September 22, 1912. KREMKA BROS.: Eccentric athletic novelty. Two men; 10 min. F. S. Corking good act, strong enough for any spot; too strong for opener, but no other play for it on this big Bill. LOUISVILLE. VAN HOVEN: "The dipply, mad magician". 14 min. in one. Van Hoven does no tricks, has all crazy stuff, and concludes with the assistance of two boys who travel with him, but apparently are dragged out of the alley. A tremendous laugh from beginning to end. CLEVELAND FIVE MELODY MAIDS AND A MAN: 25 mins. F. S. Act opens with the company playing on five pianos, followed by several instrumental selections and some good songs. A clever, snappy, classy act. Went big. ALTOONA, PA. JOE JACKSON:# "European Vagabond". 12 min. F. S. This many fully maintained the reputation that preceded him. A tremendous scream throughout. INDIANAPOLIS EDDIE LEGNARD: Minstrel, assisted by Mabel Russell. 22 min. in one. Advance hand. Same act as last season; went just as big. Even Leonard is in fast company in this show, but he fully held up his own. CLEVELAND MABEL TALIAFERRO & CO: In a Japanese sketch entitled "The Return of Tori San". 18 min. F. S., our own set, given a Japanese atmosphere by the use of Japanese articles such as parasols, etc. A clever sketch, exceedingly well acted, especially by Miss Taliaferro. Went good. NEW YORK MATTHEWS & SHAYNE: Comedy sketch, "A Chinatown Fantasy". 20 min. in one, own drop. One big hit throughout. LOUIS VILLE MADAM ALASKA TECHHON'S PERFORMING CATS: A dozen or more cats that do remarkable stunts, holding the audience to the finish, and producing screams of laughter and applause. Best animal act over soon in this house. We are featuring it. LOUISVILLE B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Patho's weekly. 15 minutes. REMARKS: This is a tremendous show, even better than last week. C. L. Doran.
