HUDSON THEATRE, UNION HILL, N.J. WEEK OF SEPT. 30, 1912. Jos. R. Smith. JULIA CONZALES--- Aerial artist who performs several regular stunts closing with two novel tricks with the assistance of a stage hand Makes a neat appearance. Good opening act. F. S. 8 Min. WESTON and YOUNG--- resent a comedy skit "A Modern Flirtation " introducing two songs and some dancing by the woman. Close with a laughing song that caught the audiences. Fair act for this position. In one 11 min. JOE LANIGAN----The " Thin Jester" with his monologue and parodies was the applause hit of the bill. In one 15 min. THE MAID OF WISTERIA---- Musical comedy with three men and eight women. Scene represents imaginary island of Dreams on the coast of Japan. Several fair musical numbers are rendered in an acceptable manner. F. S. Special scenery 28 Min. INTERMISSION. DON FULANO--- Well trained horse which performs some regular tricks several additional good ones. Went well at both shows. F. S. 15 Min. TOM DINGLE AND ESMERELDA SISTERS----- Sing one song at the opening and then close with dancing and high kicking by the girls. Dingle's eccentric dancing was the hit of the act. Went good at both shows. 2 Min. in one, 9 Min. F. S. Time of act 11 Min. SMITH AND CAMPBELL------ [gave?] a comedy skit " Camping Out" with a song comprising catch lines from a number of old pieces. It woudl be generous to this act to say that it went fair at both shows. In one 13 Min. MichaeL Richerdini TROUPE---- Three men and a woman who live up to their reputation as sensational gymnasts. The woman performs some wonderful feats of strength. This act is one of the best that has ever played this house. The troupe make a neat appearance and went big at both shows. F. S. 12 Min. PHOTOPLANE---- Satisfactory.
