Boston Show - B.F. Keith's Theatre - Week Sept. 30, 1012. (R. G. Larson) Charles Weber. 16 minutes in two. Garden. Short close in one. One of the best comedy juggling acts we have ever played. Does not miss anyntricks, which adds not a little to the value of the act. Get lots of laughs at both shows to-day, and closed strong. Lanctoh, Lucifer Company. 17 minutes f.s. C.D.F. 3 minute close in one. This well known singing and dancing act went about as well as it has on previous visits. Delaur Duo. 12 minutes in one. O.P.Drapcry. Two women singing operatic selections. Filled the spot acceptably. Eight English Roses. 8 minutes f.s. Cut Garden. A good likely flashily-dressed dancing act, somewhat after the style of the Berlin Madcaps. Get over in very good shape in both performances. Lew Hawkins. "Famous Characters in Famous Scenes." 24 minutes. f.s. Special sets. Stephens is doing four characters this trip, "Shylock," "Mr. Pickwick," Rip Van Winkle," and "Judas Iscariot," coach presented with appropriate scenic and electrical effects. Every impersonation was applauded tonight, and he finished big. Brown? Harris and Brown. 23 minutes in one. Garden. Same old laughing hit as always. B.A. Rolfe's "Puss in Boots." 42 minutes f.s. Four special scenes. The biggest and most beautiful spectacular production we have ever played. Has an excellent cast, a large chorus of pretty girls, several tuneful musical numbers, and an exceptionally good line of comedy. Got a lot of laughs to-night, held the audience in their seats to the very finish, and closed strong. Cuts: "Puss in Boots." - "ten cents worth of God help us."
