BOSTON SHOW - B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - WEEK OCT. 7, '12 (R. G. Larsen.) THE ZANETTOS. 13 minutes f.s. Cut Garden. Doing pretty much the same act as they had a number of years ago, and making a very good opener. EDDIE BORDEN and IRENE SHANNON. 10 minutes in one. Olie. It may be that this was a little early for a man and woman singing act, but whatever the reason, they did not make anything like the showing that I expected. In the afternoon they did not do as much time as to-night. BERT MELROSE. 18 minutes of f.s. Horizon drop. The same big hit. BIG CITY FOUR. 17 minutes in one. Street. Still the best male quartette we play. Went as big as ever. MA-BELLE and HER SYLVAN BALLET. 15 minutes f.s. Special set. This apple orchard scene is very pretty, and got a hand on the rise of the curtain. Ma-Belle is an exceptionally graceful dancer, and her solos were received with considerable enthusiasm. The ballet, however, is a bit heavy. Worked very much better to-night than they did this afternoon. With a couple of new girls who are to replace the heavyweights, should whip into very good shape. MARSHALL MONTGOMERY. 15 minutes in one. Special plush drapery. This man has dressed his act in great shape since his last appearance here, with a splendid line of material. He went better than ever he did before. PROVIDENCE PLAYERS in "WHO IS BROWN?" 31 minutes f.s. C.D.F. This act is working faster than it did in Providence, and got a good many laughs. It is still very much too long. The development of the story in the first part takes up considerable time. It went over in good shape and closed strong. DAVE GENARO and RAY BAILEY. 18 minutes open and close in one. Special drops. This couple seem to have gone back, although they came in this morning complaining that Miss Bailey was not feeling well, and willing to close. The first part of the act is rather slow, but made a good finish with the Flirtation Dance. FIVE MARTELLS. 10 minutes f.s. Landscape. A very lively bicycle act with a lot of novelty and a good flash for a closer.
