REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OCTOBER 7TH - 1918 W.W.Proseer FERRELL BROTHERS: Two men in bicycle number, one straight, the other comedy. Rather a novel offering with good work throughout. Close attention and liberal laughter. Strong finish. 10 minutes landscape in 5. (Louisville) EARL and CURTIS: Woman and two men in comedy skit, "The Girl and The Drummer". Talk, songs, and dances. Bright material well delivered. Just a bit of a story to hang the act together. Met with favor throughout and finished strong. Olio in I. Special in 1. Olio in 1 - 15 Minutes. (Cleveland.) LITTLE LORD ROBERT: Lilliputian comedian. Various impersonations and all fine. Went very big throughout. An exceptionally good entertainer. C.D.F. in 3. street in I, = 16 minutes. (Cincinnati.) [BAWLS?] & VON KAUFMAN: Man and woman in comedy skit, "The Willing worker. Man blackface, woman straight. A quiet sort of offering which seemed to hit the right spot. Good comedy lines which brought forth plenty of laughs. Finished strong. C.D.F. in2 1/2, Olio in 1. -27 minutes. (Dayton.) MORE SINNED AGAINST THAN USUAL: A very clever travesty on the rural drama, nine men, two women. It had them guessing for the first act, of which there are four. Looked like it was o be taken seriously but the first illustrated song seemed to be the key to situation and then the laughs and applause were very manifest. Proved a hit after the start and finished strong. Should cause a lot of comment. All special sets 40 minutes. (Indianapolis.) HERMAN TIMBERG: Songs, talk and a violin. Made a very favorable impression from the first. Finished very strong. Olio in 1 12 minutes. (Toledo.) THREE JOSETTYS, Three men, novelty acrobats. An abundance of clever tricks most capably presented. Held attention to the finish. Liberal applause. Garden in 3. 7 minutes. (Cleveland.) PATHE WEEKLY O.K.
