27 B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE CINCINNATI, O. [OHIO] Week of Oct. [October] 5th, 1912. LOUIS STICKNEY'S CIRCUS: Ponies, dogs and comedy; 10 min. F.S. Fair animal act. DETROIT J. FRANCIS DOOLEY & CORINNE SAYLES: 24 min. in one. Same old act- lots of fun and laughs. Went good. CHICAGO. SIX KIRKSMITH SISTERS: Instrumentalists. 15 min. F. S., closing 7 min. in One. A very classy act throughout; went big. INDIANAPOLIS. THREE KEATONS: Comedy. 20 min. F. S., closing 8 min. in one. Same old knockabout set, with the introduction of the two little ones at the finish. A big scream. LOUISVILLE. BELLE STORY: Songs. 13 min. in One. A very dainty, clever and good-looking young woman, with splendid voice, her specialty being a flute obligate, which went big. INDIANAPOLIS BERT LESLIE & CO.: In a comedy sketch entitled "Hogan, The Painter". 16 min. F. S., A typical Leslie sketch, and with all of Leslie's slang and comedy. Went big. MEMPHIS "APPLE OF PARIS": Three scene pantomime. 16 min., opening and closing F. S., and the second scene 7 min. in One. Our audiences never took very good to pantomime, and closing the show with this one placed it in a dangerous position. The act, however, is probably the best pantomime ever seen here, and holds attention. INDIANAPOLIS. NOTE: Bonita and Lew Hearn arrived Sunday morning, and object to being featured under the "Apple of Paris" and Bert Leslie & Co., refusing to go on unless the order was changed. The order was not changed, and the bill was re-arranged as follows:- 1 - Stickney's Circus; 2 - Dooley & Sayles; 3 - "Apple of Paris"; 4 - Belle Story; 5 - Bert Leslie & Co.; 6 - Presidential slides and part of Pathe's Weekly; 7 - Kirksmith Sisters; 8 - Three Keatons; 9 - Pathe's Weekly. This arrangement made the show go very much better at night than in the afternoon, and send them away in much better humor. The show was out Sunday night at 10:45, and Bonita and Lew Hearn were not missed in any respect, as the bill is full of good comedy and it is plenty long enough. We will begin tomorrow announcing the scores of the World's Series ball game. C. L. Doran.
