REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Oct 7th 8th 9th David R. Buffinton JESS EDWARDS POMERIAN DOGS Jess Edwards and man assistant, troupe of Dogs, clever, and very pretty, nicely dressed act, 10 minutes full stage, went very good. JESSIE HAYWARD Singing, popular selections, good rag, trunk failed to arrive and went on in street clothes, made good. 10 minutes in one. MABEL MORGAN & CO Two men and woman, singing novelty GYPSY LOVE, special drop and ellectrical effects, nicely dressed, Gypsy costumes, good singing, 12 minutes full stage, went very well MISS RAY DOOLEY and her METROPOLITAN MINSTRELS 5 young ladies and 2 young men, men black face, women white dresses, singing and dancing, open with minstrel first part, some good lively songs, go in to one for a couple of songs and then to full stage for finish, the finishing song I'm Afraid Of The Big Moon, with a lot of knockabout comedy went big. Dont like the act myself but it went big at finish 20 min. Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R.I. 3 days Thursday, Friday and Saturday Oct. 10--11--12 David R. Buffinton THE SHARPS Man and girl, singing and talking, eccentric, finish with imitation instruments, The Village Band. Comedy fair, singing fair, just got by 12 minutes in one. DEWAR'S COMEDY CIRCUS Two Ponies, Mule and Dog. Trainer with 4 assistants, just the same act as Hickeys Comedy Circus only it is not worked as well 15 minutes full stage and went very well, would have gone far better if Hickeys Circus had not played here. LESTER and GOODHALL Man and woman, singing, talking and dancing, nicely dressed, some fairly good comedy and singing, 12 minutes in one, went fairly well. RAY DOOLEY and Her Metropolitan Minstrels All week, Going very good, seemed to have brightened it up more since first part of week.
