GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURGH, PA. J.P. HARRIS. SEPT. 23rd, 1912. THREE JOSETTY BROS. Comedy acrobats. Garden- full stage. 7 minutes. An exceptionally good opening act. SAMPSELL AND REILLY. Fashion-plate Vocal Harmonizers. 11 min. Olio. A very ordinary act. Just about get by in number 2 position. CHADWICK TRIO. 20 minutes. Interior. Close in one. The comedy of Mr. and Mrs. Chadwick is about the worst I have ever seen. The girl with her eccentric make-up and dancing make the act a bi hit, being compelled to take bows at every performance. LORA. "The Girl in the Parrot." 12 min. Open full stage, palace, close in one. A novel mind-reading act which is very ordinary. Would class it as only fair. HERMAN TIMBERG. 12 minutes. Olio. Singing, dancing and violinist. A big hit at every performance. His comedy is very good. He sings well and his violin playing is as good as the average. DANCE DREAM. Special. Full stage. 16 min. Introducing Mr. [Coot?] Alberston and six well dressed, good looking girls in a real novelty. The set did very well for us. STUART BARNES. 24 minutes. Olio. Mr. Barnes' act is practically the same as we received from him during his last engagement, except in addition, one new song. However, he is the same big hit hat he has always been and held the stage for 24 minutes. KLUTING'S ANIMALS. 15 minutes. Full Stage. Garden. I consider this one of the best animal acts we have played. They are closing the show and went very big for us. Pathe's Moving Picture News.
