REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OCTOBER 21, 1912--W.W. PROSSER WARTENBERG BROTHERS: Excellent novelty foot-juggling number which made a most favorable impression. Applause throughout and strong finish. Garden in 4. 8 minutes. (Open) ETHEL McDONOUGH: "Delineator of Popular Songs". Very well dressed. Sang four songs, opening mildly, improving rapidly and scoring a strong finish. Olio in 1, 14 minutes. (Atlanta) LLOYD & WHITEHOUSE: "Just Vaudeville". Man and woman, singing, talking and comedy. Variety skit which proved quite acceptable. Very good finish. C.D.F. in 3, close in 1. 12 minutes. (Atlanta) "DICK", THE WRITING DOG: Proved very entertaining as a novelty animal offering. Held attention throughout, won applause after each stunt, and finished strong. Palace in 3, 13 minutes. (Atlanta) BERT TERRELL: Dutch Character Vocalist. Sang several songs, the feature of which is his yodling. The act has the distinction of being distinctly different from the general run of "singles". He made a very favorable impression, winning immediate favor, and finished strong. Street in 1. 10 minutes. (New York) ZELDA SEARS & CO: Three women and two men in a "behind-the-scenes" comedy, "The Wardrobe Woman". Just a thread of story, but good opportunity afforded Miss Sears for the display of comic talent. The act found unqualified favor, scoring throughout, and finishing strong. Reversed set in 3, 23 minutes. (Dayton) SIX AMERICAN DANCERS: Same excellent offering as before. Big hit throughout, with strong finish. Nothing better in dancing has been shown here. Special drop in 1, 15 minutes. (Open) MAX'S BURLESQUE CIRCUS: Very fine closer. An animal-comedy number that stands alone. Genuine fun riot. Very strong finish. Special Cyc in 5.15 minutes. PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
