BOSTON SHOW - B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - WEEK OCT. 28, '12. (R. G. Larsen.) EUGENE TRIO. 7 minutes f.s. Garden. Three men in a fast, clean-cut, horizontal bar act that started the show off with a bang. BROWN and BLYLER. 10 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Two men and a piano. Filled this spot most acceptably. EDWINA BARRY and COMPANY in "THE HOME BREAKER." 20 minutes f.s. Library. Miss Barry is a South Boston girl, and her friends were out in force at both shows to-day. The act got a lot of laughs and woke things up in great shape; FARBER GIRLS. 13 minutes in one. Garden. Two extremely pretty and clever girls in songs and dances. A neat little sister act that is unfortunately somewhat marred by the attempt of the younger girl to act "tough." Went over very well at both shows to-day. THE BERRENS. 13 minutes in three. Music room. This is the only repeat act on the bill, but they duplicated the success scored on the first visit. The finish, with the removal of the impersonator's wig, was immense. LAURA BUCKLEY. 15 minutes in one. Olio. Protean "Studies From Life." This young woman is presenting four characters, an old man, a manicure, a gray-haired mother, and a demonstrator in a department store. Introduces quite a little comedy. Each number was applauded, and she closed strong. MAXIME BROTHERS and BOBBY. 11 minutes f.s. Garden. Two clever acrobats and a wonderful dog comedian. Went over big, the various tricks being applauded, and the act closed to a strong hand. FRED WATSON and RENA SANTOS. 14 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. An excellent singing and dancing act, everyone of their songs being new to Boston audiences. Held this hard spot in splendid shape. JESSE L. LASKY'S "TRAINED NURSES." 33 minutes f.s. Special set. The best act Lasky has ever given us. Clark and Bergman, of course, are the big feature. Held the audience in their seats to the very finish, everyone of the musical numbers received a good hand, and the finish with the dancing wedding was big. CUTS: Farber Girls - reference to becoming better acquainted with one of the men in the audience. Brown and Blyler - Houchee Kouchee song and dance.
