76 REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK NOV. 4, 1912--W.W. PROSSER. THE PARROFFS: Two men in straight and comedy flying ring work. Quite a good act, but nothing unusual. Did well as an opener. Finished fairly strong. Garden in 5, 8 minutes. (Open) FRANK MULLANE: The "Irish-American-Hebrew". Straight songs and Hebrew stories. Deliberate in method and pleasing in voice. Made good throughout, and finished strong. Street in 1, 15 minutes. (Louisville) ROSALIND COGHLAN AND CO: 1 man, two women in "The Obstinate Miss Granger". Rather a mediocre comedy pretty well handled. Good in spots and ordinary at times. Generally pleased. No finish at all. Library in 3, 21 minutes. (Atlanta) CARSON & WILLARD: Dutch comedians. "The Dutch in China". Majority of the material bears on presidential political matter. They will have to do a new act after Tuesday. Got along first rate. Good finish. Special in 1, 15 minutes. (Memphis) AL & FANNIE STEDMAN: In "Pianocapers". Songs, dancing and talk. Very acceptable throughout, scoring from start to finish. Conservatory in 2, 17 minutes. (Cleveland) JOE JACKSON: The "European Vagabond". A genuine hit throughout. Easily taking the place as the star of the bill. One long scream. Big finish. Landscape in 5, 12 minutes. (Philadelphia) OLGA PETROVA: A fine artist in the delineation of songs. Appeals to the more intelligent class. Plenty of style. Held interest throughout, scoring moderately strong finish. Will no doubt go better for the remainder of the week. Olio in 1, 22 min. (Dayton) VAN OS TROUPE: Three men, one woman. Equilibrists. Fine work throughout. Clean-cut and finished. Had no trouble in holding attention. Finished well. Palace in 5. 10 minutes. (Memphis) PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
