97 REPORT COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK NOV. 18TH. 1912. W. W. PROSSER. RAMSDELL TRIO: 1 man, two women. Series of novelty dances all of which were well presented. People make good appearance and the act made good throughout. Finished strong. Garden in 5 10 minutes. (INDIANAPOLIS.) PHIL STAATS: Well known "fat" pinaologuist. Did very well throughout and finished strong. Conservatory in 2 - 18 minutes. (CLEVELAND.) WARD & CURRAN: In "The Stage Door Tender" -- A good deal of the old material with a new drop. High and low spots throughout. Pretty good finish. Special in 1 - 25 minutes. (CHICAGO.) KARA: Novelty juggler. Fine act of its kind. Applause throughout. Strong finish. Palace in 5, 16 minutes. (Open) OLIVE BRISCOE: Songs and talk. Makes nice appearance, and delivers material very acceptably. Away from the beaten path. Caught on nicely throughout. Finished strong. Olio in 1, 17 minutes. (New York) HENRY CLIVE & CO. In the illusion, "Spirit Paintings". Fine number, capably presented. His line of talk is bright and entertaining. Reproduction of paintings. Had them all guessing. Held attention throughout and finished strong. Picture sheet in 1, C.D.F. in 3, 15 minutes. (Washington) KATE ELINORE & SAM WILLIAMS: In "The Hunter and the Hunter-ess". A little slow at the start, but picked up quickly and went big until the finish, taking many bows. Thoroughly satisfactory. Wood in 1, 20 min. (Atlanta) RICE, SULLY & SCOTT: The poorest bar act we have had for a long time. Tricks, ordinary, comedy, bad. They worked like amateurs. There wasn't any finish. Just died. Garden in 5, 5 minutes. (Toledo) PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
