101 BOSTON SHOW - WEEK NOVEMBER 25, '12 - B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. (R. G. Larsen.) BELL and CARON. 11 minutes f.s. Garden. An acrobatic comedian and a rather attractive girl, both clever, the man funny. Made a very good opening act. RIESNER and GORE. 17 minutes in one. Special drop. Man and woman, both good, and it is unfortunate we had to place them so early on the bill. EMERSON and BALDWIN. 11 minutes f.s. Special drop. An act something after Bedini and Arthur, but very different and very fast. Went very big. PHINA and CO. 13 minutes in one. Garden. We don't go much for "pick" acts, but this one made thoroughly good here tonight. JACK KENNEDY and CO. in "A Business Proposal." 18 minutes f.s. Dark library. this is unquestionably one of the very best sketches of the season. The idea is new, the people clever, and it is a succession of laughs from start to finish. THURBER and MADISON. 16 minutes in one. Street. Doing their old act without the special drop. Went well and finished strong. ADA REEVE. 28 minutes f.s. Dark Tapestry. this afternoon she sang seven songs and created quite a lot of talk. Tonight she sang six, and felt the audience didn't want any more. Miss Reeve is just as great an artiste in Boston as she was in New York, but I am afraid she is of the olive variety - an acquired taste, and she will grow as the days go by. WYNN and RUSSON. 18 minutes in one. Street. Following Miss Reeve and such a strong comedy bill, they had a hard spot, but they got away with it in good shape. LYDIA and ALBINO. 8 minutes f.s. Palace. A very pretty equilibristic act with electrical effects, both man and woman doing some difficult balancing stunts, and made a great closer. COMMENT. This is one of the very best shows we have had in years, from a comedy standpoint, with only two acts that have played here before. NO CUTS.
