The story is neatly told, and the comedy is furnished by the quaint remarks and mannerisms of the old couple. The act went very well. C.D.F. 20 Min. They sweetly sing several songs and perform original dances. The girl makes three changes of costume. This act went big. In one 11 Min. "AT THE MOVIES" A novelty comedy with fifteen people. The first scene is the exterior of a moving picture theatre. The usual ticket booth, the glaring advertisements and the crowd of patrons entering the theatre are all there. The gathering purchasing the tickets are a mixed lot and the major part of the comedy is at this scene. The second and last scene is the interior of the theatre. Several rows of seats are on the stage, a piano and the white screen go to make the scene true to life. When the audience is seated a film "Love's Sweet Dream" which is a burlesque on the regular films of the day is thrown on the screen as the entire theatre is submerged in darkness. Much comedy is brought out by the picture. Following this picture is a song burlesqueing the usual sentimental songs heard in moving pictures theatres, entitled "When the Onion Crop is gathered Mabel Mine". At the close of the song which is sung by the audience joining with the singer, the sketch is suddenly brought to a close when a woman in the audience discovers that the drunken man who is causing much trouble is her husband. As she wheels him off the stage in her baby carriage the curtain rings down. It is the most novel comedy act that has ever played at this house. The act went very big. In one 14 Min. F.S. 17 Min. Time of act 31 Min. Special scenery. HENRY FINK, assisted by AL. PIANTDOSI at the piano Singer and a pianist in evening clothes. Fink sweetly renders several numbers with the capable assistance of the pianist. this act went very big. In one 16 Min. THE PEERS Two men in a comedy parallel bar act. There is considerable comedy mingled with their several good stunts. It is a good closing act. F.S. 10 Min. PHOTOPLANE Satisfactory.
