REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of December 16, 1912. CHAS. LOWENBERG, Manager. This is our anniversary Old Timers' Week and the show as a whole played splendidly. It was most interesting, and it was quite evident that the audience enjoyed it. LUKE WILSON Bar performer, who while he doesn't do much of consequence, is all right in a show of this kind and was appreciated because of his age. 7 Min. F. S. GOLDEN & HUGHES A good old time black-face act that scored very well indeed. 15 Min. in One. DAN MASON & CO. In a very good comedy sketch that is all right to play other than Old Timers; Week. Had them laughing all through his act. 16 Min. F. S. HARRY LE CLAIR Burlesque female impersonator, who made a decided hit. 22 Min. Open in Two, close in One. WARD & CURRAN Made their usual big hit, playing "The Terrible Judge." 25 Min. F. S. Open F. S. Close in One. HINES & REMINGTON This act went the lightest of any act on the bill. They seemed to have lost their grip, although they might do better with a better vehicle. 23 Min. F. S. COL. SAM HOLDSWORTH Eighty-one year old tenor; about the hit of the show. 12 Min. in One. CARON & HERBER Big hit. 12 Min. Open F. S. Close in One. MAGGIE CLINE Usual big success. 23 Min. in One. AFTERPIECE. "Dinkle & Maginty's Racket," put on by Dan Mason, assisted by various members of the company; dragged a little at today's performance, due to first presentation no doubt; with a little speeding up, it will no doubt go all right, making a good finish to a very interesting bill.
