133 CRITICISM B. F. KEITH'S UNION SQUARE THEATRE. WEEK OF DECEMBER 16TH, 1912. LEONARD & LOUIE: A splendid opening act. 7 minutes in two. THREE DOLCE SISTERS: Three young ladies making a splendid appearance; several changes of costume with an elegant repertoire; very neat. Fifteen minutes in 1. WALTER LE ROY & CO.: Offering the well known comedy, "A Horse on Hogan". Too well known for any comment. Seemed to secure just as many laughs as of old. Seventeen minutes, full stage. THREE WONDERFUL SINGERS: A new trio presented by Joseph Hart; William C. Weeden, Robert Bernard and Harry Barrows. Better than any trio we have ever had. Fourteen minutes in 1. MR. & MRS. P. FISHER: "The Half Way House". Novel, well known rural sketch. Treated like a new production. Splendid act, worth booking. Eighteen minutes, full stage. MISS LEONA THURBER AND HARRY MADISON: Well known comedy, "On A Shopping Tour". Material remains the same as before. Opened a little tame but Mr. Madison's eccentric dancing gets the laughs and they finished to a strong hand. Sixteen minutes in 1. MADAME OLGA PETROVA: In Comedy vs. Tragedy. This woman seems to be appreciated in her original entertainment and, at almost every performance, she is compelled to make a short speech. 17 minutes in 1. JAMES THORNTON: Is going remarkably well, has a big supply of wit and, in this position, holds them in splendid manner. Nineteen minutes in 1. ELLA BRADNA & FRED DERRICK: Equestrian specialty, well known. A splendid feature, interesting and one that holds the audience. Nine minutes full stage.
