149 REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK DEC.30,1912--W.W.PROSSER. WENTWORTH, VESTA & TEDDY: Two men and a dog in comedy acrobatic work. O.K. for opener. Terrace in 2,close in 1. 10 min. (Youngstown and Akron) STEWART SISTERS & ESCORTS: 3 men, 3 women in novelty dancing act. Various numbers introduced, all of which went fairly well. Nothing remarkable, but generally pleasing. Fair finish. Palace in 5, 13 minutes. (Springfield) MERLIN: "And A Pack of Cards". Another Van Hoves or former Henry Clive number,but not nearly as good. About as fine a flop as we have had for a long time. The spotlight and the olio drop was about the only thing that held them. Golden Silence prevailed at the finish. Garden in 2, close in 1. 23 minutes. (Philadelphia) "FEAR" : 4 men in a story of the South-West. The idea is based on man's instinct against wrong. The offering is out of the ordinary in style and is very well presented. held close attention throughout scoring a good strong finish. Special set in 4, 16 minutes. (Baltimore) KAUFMAN BROTHERS: Blackface. Singing and talking. Good lively number which caught on from the beginning. Went big throughout with strong finish. Street in 1, 16 min. (Cincinnati) WILFRED CLARKE & CO: In the farce "What Will Happen Next??". A high grade laughing number excellently presented. Applause and laughter all the way through and a fine finish. Fancy in 3, 15 min. (Louisville) BISON CITY FOUR: Well-known comedy quartet which made a genuine hit. Finished strong. Special in 1, 17 minutes. (Brooklyn) FOUR LONDONS: The best casting act in the business. Applause throughout and very strong finish. Garden in 5, 6 minutes. (Toledo) PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
