B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE -- BOSTON -- WEEK JAN. [JANUARY] 13, 1913 (R. G. Larsen.) JED AND ETHEL DOOLEY. 11 minutes f.s. Palace. Singing, bicycle riding, roping and "Turkey Trotting." Every minute of it good. One of the best opening acts we have played in a long time and could go down on a bill. BOWMAN BROTHERS. 15 minutes in one. Garden. Doing pretty much the same stuff as when last here, and in this spot very big. ROSA CROUCH AND GEORGE WELCH. 14 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Four minute close in one. Olio. Never went bigger in this house. The third act of an exceptionally swift show. MERLIN. 18 minutes in one. Garden. Open in two, close in one. The best trickster with cards we have had in a long time, who kept up the pace. WILLIAM BURR and DAPHNE HOPE. 14 minutes f.s. Black cyclorama. A most delightful singing novelty, man and woman, that kept things going in their own quiet way. TIM MCMAHON AND EDITH CHAPPELLE. 24 minutes in one. Special drop. Same old line of stuff and going as well as ever. Had 'em laughing every minute. HAMISH MCLAURIN'S "A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES." 27 minutes f.s. Special sets; This act proved a decided novelty, caught the fancy of the audience, and had them laughing at both shows almost without interruption. It is so far away from anything we have had that it will no doubt cause a lot of talk, and will be a good feature. LINDEN BECKWITH. 15 minutes in one. O.P.Drapery. Still singing "Coming Thro The Rye" and "Mobile Bay," and strange to say, she gets away with it. FOUR CLIFTONS. 10 minutes f.s. Palace. A really great posing and hand-balancing act that closed a splendid show. CUTS: Modify the dope field in "The Movies," talk about "chickens" and "squabs," and modifying of sheath skirts. Bowman Brothers - "souse" and recitation Tim McMahon - "mother-in-law" gag.
