168 B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of Jan. 12th, 1913. BERG BROS.: Freak cycling act. 11 min. F. S. Good comedy; went good. MILWAUKEE. JONES & SYLVESTER: Formerly of "That Quartette". Comedy singing and talking. 18 min. in one, own drop. Great act - went big. MONTREAL, CANADA. THE TAKINESS: Man and woman. Eccentric musical novelty. 11 min. in one. Went good. LOUISVILLE. WILFRED CLARKE & CO.: Comedy sketch entitled, "What Will Happen Next?". 15 min. F. S., own act. Same old sketch he has been presenting here for years, but a big laughing hit. Went big. INDIANAPOLIS. CESARE NESI: "The Young Caruso". 11 min. in one. A splendid singers - One of the big hits of the show. MEMPHIS. JACKSON & McLAREN (AUSTRALIAN WOODCHOPPERS) Open 5 min. in one, close F. S., 13 min. in all, own set. Same act as last year. A big hit. LOUISVILLE. GUS EDWARDS' SONG REVUE: 41 min., own set. Open 7 min. in one, alternating in one and full stage. Much the same act as last year, with two or three new songs. A tremendous hit. Advance applause, big applause throughout the act, and an ovation at the finish both performances Sunday. LOUISVILLE. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's Weekly. 16 minutes. REMARKS: The show is one of the best of the season, Gus Edwards being the one big attraction, with Jones & Sylvester, Cesare Nesi and the Australian Woodchoppers other tremendous hits. The flood mixed things up badly in railroad depots and yards Sunday, and we had a close call to give a show Sunday matinee, which was done by the curtain going up at 2:35 and with the opening of our acts in one. Wilfred Clarke & Co. lost their baggage in the flood, and could not open Sunday matinee but opened Sunday night. Gus Edwards packed the house both performances Sunday. The advance sale for the week is good, and unless the flood interferes, which is feared, Edwards will do us a big business. C. L. Doran.
