195 GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURGH, PA. JOHN P. HARRIS. JANUARY 20th, 1913. BERT CUTLER. Interior. 9 minutes. "The Yankee Billiardist." This is a splendid opening act and capable of going down lower on the bill. Mr. Cutler does some truly wonderful billiard shots and has a line of patter, which, though a bit hackneyed, seemed to get over nicely. His manner is pleasing and his exhibition of billiard playing gained a lot of applause. (SYRACUSE) COOMBS & ALDWELL. Olio in One. 14 minutes. Two well dressed singers with real voices, who are going big at every performance. (NORFOLK) BOGANNY TROUPE. Full stage. Special. 12 minutes. "Royal Lunatic Bakers." A comedy acrobatic act that has it all over any other act of the kind in the business. They are a continual scream during the whole act. (NEW YORK) GRACE HAZZARD. Olio in one. 16 minutes. In an original costume change concert, "Five Feet of Comic Opera." Miss Hazzard is doing very well. Her changes are attractive and her numbers are very good. I would class her as a very good act. (ATLANTA) JESSIE BUSLEY in "MISS 318" Special. 23 minutes. (Comedy of Department Store Life.) I think this is one of the acts that should be eliminated from vaudeville. I can see no merit in the piece. It is very much overdrawn and really insulting to the department store working girl. The company is very ordinary, including Miss Busley. I hope I will never play anything so bad again. (MEMPHIS) OTA GYGI. Oilo. 18 minutes. Court violinist. A very good act of the kind. He was really a hit at every performance. (SYRACUSE) RAY COX. Garden in Two. 23 minutes. Character changes also introducing an aeroplane. Miss Cox did very well, but not any better than on her recent visits, when she cost us $200. less. (BROOKLYN) FRED DUPREZ. Olio in one. 20 minutes. Monologue. this man was next to closing our bill and he was a real hit. I consider him one of the best monologists in the business. (ATLANTA) SISTERS O'MEERS. Garden in three. 12 minutes. A very neat act introducing singing and dancing on the wire. (OPEN) KINEMACOLOR. THE GEYSERS OF NEW ZEALAND, INSECTS OF ASIA MINOR, ASIATIC HAWK.
