229 CHASE'S WASHINGTON, D.C. Week Feb. [February] 17th, 1913. MAX [NELSON?] TROUPE Two men and three women in an acrobatic act, working on rings. One of the women also does some fine strength work. A good opening act. Full stage CONLIN, STEELE AND CARR Doing about the same work as in former years and seems to please the audience. In one. JACK KENNEDY AND CO. "A Business Proposal". A little sketch with an original and interesting plot well acted by Mr. Kennedy and a competent company. Lots of laughs and went big. Full stage. INTERMISSION MAXIM'S MODELS Living reproductions of world famous paintings. The best posing act we have ever seen played. The pictures are well chosen and the artists are both fine-looking and able. Full stage. FRANK NORTH AND CO. "Back to Wellington." The same idea as formerly, but a lot of new lines and situations. Mr. North knows how to play this kind of a part and he gets quite a great deal of quiet humor from the role. In two. "THE DANCE DREAM" A very pretty act and we can commend it highly. Mr. Albertson and the six young ladies all have pleasing personalities and all are good dancers. The costuming is perfect, and altogether, we can call it a very good, novel at. Full stage. Velvet backing and sides. KINEMACOLOR PHOTO-PLAY The medieval drama "The Alchemist". Pictorially, this is a fine film and the story is one that is sure to hold the attention of the people.
