235 CHASE'S THEATRE WASHINGTON, D.C. Week February 24th., 1913. THE GEE-JAYS Man and woman, singing and dancing on a miniature stage. A nice little act for opening position, such an act as is necessary to play once in a while for the children. F. S. EDWIN GEORGE Has a lot of new material this year and went just as well as formerly. In one. LASKY'S "THE HOUSEBOAT PARTY" A pretty setting showing the exterior of a houseboat. There are a few more or less catchy songs, a whistling duo by the Shaw twins, etc. Filled this position acceptably. F.S. INTERMISSION TOM DAVIES TRIO "Motoring in Mid-Air." A true thriller. Two men and a woman who ride motorcycles at an extremely rapid pace on a small saucer track. Held the audience breathless. F.S. ARMSTRONG AND FORD "The English Johnnie and the Cop" A good act. The Englishman is one of the best we have seen and there are lots of laughs scattered through the act. Also one clever song. Made good and received a number of encores. In one. WM. H. THOMPSON AND CO. The dramatic sketch, "An Object Lesson". An intensely interesting situation involving the old question of the "triangle", presented in a new light. One of the best bits of character acting on the part of Mr. Thompson that we have ever seen and his supporting cast is competent. An act that will be a distinct credit to any bill. F.S. KINEMACOLOR PHOTO-PLAY The Western dramatic play, "The Call of the Blood". A very good film.
