240 240 B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of Feb. 24, 1913 Cleveland, Ohio THREE MORI BROTHERS - - Japanese Risely Artists. Palace in 4. Three men working 12 minutes. A good opening act with plenty of comedy. (Columbus) PEALSON & GOLDIE - - -Singing and talking comedians. 15 minutes in 1. A fair act which succeeded in getting some laughs and applause as the result of barber-shop harmony on the climax of their song numbers. (Columbus) KATE ELINORE & SAM WILLIAMS - - 18 minutes in one. This team convulsed both the matinee and evening audiences Monday and they would have no trouble in holding down any position on a fast running program. (Detroit) THE KINETOPHONE - - Picture sheet in one, about 15 minutes. At both performances this feature of the show was roundly applauded. The machine worked perfectly, and if the initial performance is to be a criterion of what is to follow in this line, The Kinetophone will find a most appreciative following. DON FULANO - - The Wonder Horse. Special set in 3, working from 17 to 19 minutes. This a very interesting act well received at both performances yesterday. The horse succeeds in doing some really remarkable stunts without any visible signals. (Open) CAESAR NESI - - "The Young Caruso". 12 minutes in one. This young man can sing. Uses only straight songs and of the heavier variety, without even so much as gestures. His work went over big at bothperformances. (Montreal) HENRY WOODRUFF & CO - - Comedy sketch "A Regular Business Man". Three men and two women, working 29 minutes. A very good comedy vehicle and very well acted. Gave satisfaction. (Baltimore) LILLIAN SHAW - - Singing Comedienne. 21 minutes in 1. This young lady stopped the show. At Monday's matinee the audience became hysterical and we carried out one man and one woman. Both of theses had "over-laughed", and we were compelled to apply such restoratives as we have on hand for emergency sickness. Regardless of the commotion caused by carrying out the 250 pound man on the main floor and in the center of the house, Miss Shaw continued her songs and the audience refused to let her leave the stage. She made six bows after her final song at the matinee and eight in the evening. (Boston) THE FOUR RIANOS - -, Special in 3. An acrobatic act offered in a rather spectacular manner, working 9 minutes. (Open) KINETOGRAPH - PATHE'S WEEKLY
