251 GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURGH, PA. JOHN P. HARRIS. FEBRUARY 17th, 1913. FRANK HARTLEY. Garden, Full stage. 10 minutes. Juggler. This young man is a clever juggler and while he is opening the show, I feel sure that he could hold a better position. However, not better than third. EDNA LUBY. Olio. 12 minutes. Songs and characterizations. This woman's imitations are almost as bad as Cecelia Loftus'. She just about got by No. 2 on the bill. AVON COMEDY FOUR. Kitchen. Full stage. 11 minutes. In "The New School Teacher." Good comedy and good voices. A big hit. LAMBERTI. Special Drop- Full stage. 26 minutes. The Master Musician. Imitations of great musicians. Went big. I, personally, do not like his act. To me he is very ordinary. TOM DINGLE and ESMERALDA SISTERS. Olio in One. 13 minutes. Mr. Dingle as an eccentric dancer, is in a class all by himself. The Esmeralda Sisters are very ordinary singers. However, the act as a whole made good. HARRY GILFOIL. 15 minutes. Open full stage, Interior, close in one. In his famous character, "Baron Sands." The same big hit that he has always been. While he is doing practically the same act that he has given us before, he still continues to be an attraction. HENRY WOODRUFF & CO. Interior, full stage. 24 minutes. In "A Regular Business Man." A very good sketch. Mr. Woodruff is a very good actor. The Company is fair. The salary entirely too high. I am sure that Mr. Woodruff is not strong enough named to headline a Pittsburgh bill. LILLIAN SHAW. Open in One; then to Two; Garden; close Olio in One. Vocal Dialect Comedians. Miss Shaw was a real hit in a very hard place on the bill. FOUR BARDS. Full stage. 10 min. The Originators of Leaps and Dives. The best of the kind in the show business. KINEMA COLOR. Card Manipulations, "The Crusader" - A Drama.
