REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK OF DECEMBER 18, '11- W.W. PROSSER. REM BRANDT: Cartoonist who does his work with a sort of air brush. He drew several pictures and made a good impression. Moderately strong finish. Palace in three, 9 minutes. (Act goes to Cleveland.) BROOK AND HARRIS: Man and woman in song and talking act called "A Mild Flirtation". There were a few good spots in the act, but, as a whole it does not amount to much. The scenery is the best part. Just got by and that was all. Special in two, finished in one. 15 minutes. (Act goes to Richmond) SNYDER & BUCKLEY: Old- fashioned musical act that seems to have seen its best days. The early part of the number simply consumed time. They finish in one with their "Two MAn Band" which went pretty well. A fair finish. C.D.F. in three, close in one. 21 minutes. (Act goes to Hamilton, Ont) MILO BELDON & CO: Two men and one woman in a comedy skit called "Oh! Doctor". This is a crazy sort of offering, but it was quite well done and it won a lot of laughter. All in all, it seemed to please. Light Fancy in two- and one- half, 20 minutes. (Act goes to Cleveland) STELLA TRACY: Tthe "Diminutive Prima Donna", a young woman who did very well. She sang four songs, all of which got by nicely. Pleasing number with a moderately strong finish. Olio in one, 12 minutes. (Act goes to Syracuse) MRS. GENE HUGHES in "YOUTH": Four women and one man. This is a very excellent comedy, well presented. The individual success of Mrs. Hughes was pronounced. Her assistants acquitted themselves capably. Act made a distinctly favorable impression and finished stron. Library in three, 29 minutes. (Act goes to Syracuse) HARRY FOX Millership Sisters: Singing and talking number that was a riot. Went big from first entrance until the curtain. Laughs and marked approval. Encore and bows. Olio in one, 20 minutes. (Act goes to Cincinnati) FIVE SATSUDAS: Juggling and risley work and all of it very good. Applause frequent and a very strong finish. Beautiful set, making an exceptionally pretty picture. Specialin three, 14 minutes. (Act goes to New York) MOTION PICTUES: C.K.
