CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Dec. 25th, 1911. STICKNEY'S CIRCUS One of the best opening acts this season. Nice appearing little woman, clever dog and pony, and the man did the best work on stilts I ever saw done. F. S. MARY ELIZABETH A real dainty comedienne with good songs and stories and the audience liked her immensely. In one. SIGNOR TROVATO Just the same success as on previous appearances. In one. Mc CONNELL and SIMPSON "The Right Girl". I take it that you are all familiar with the sort of sketch this is, although new, and that our opinion upon its merits suffice. Our answer is that they made a hit here today and deservedly so. F. S. INTERMISSION THE THREE ESCARDOS A splendid acrobatic act using the bounding table. F. S. WYNN and RUSSON Just as funny as ever and held this position with entire credit. In one. MACLYN ARBUCKLE and Co. "The Reform Candidate". There are four good parts in this one act play and each one filled by actors of ability and reputation. Of course Mr. Arbuckle of necessity overshadows them all in a splendid portrayal of a political character, "Art" C. Hoke, the political boss. Then there is the Reform Canidate for Mayor, his wife and Hoke's secretary. The lines are clever, timely and the work required of Mr. Arbuckle he fits like a glove. Our candid judgment is that this is another "County Chairmen" and its success here today which was most pronounced certainly gives to vaudeville another big one act play with a splendid name and a man who can act. F. S. THE PHOTOPLANE Weekly events of international interest. Good. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
