REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK DEC. 25, 1911, ---W.W.PROSSER. LOUIS STONE: Topsy-turvy dancer, a novelty number which made a very acceptable opener, winning applause throughout and scoring a very good finish. Terrace in two, 11 minutes. (Dayton) JARVIS & HARRISON: Man and woman in singing and talking act which went moderately well throughout. Allright for this spot. Garden in one. 18 minutes. (Youngstwon) MARIE & BILLIE HART: In "The Circus Girl", a very pleasing variety act in which singing dancing, wire walking and, in fact a great diversity of work is very successfully introduced. Act met with approval and scored a good finish. Light Fancy in three, specialy on one, 22 minutes. (Toledo) MARION GARSON & CO. Presenting "The Belle of Seville". One woman and three men operetta that made a pleasing impression. Miss Garson scored a strong personal success. Her support was satisfactory. Very good finish. Palace in four. 23 minutes. (Toledo) FOUR SOLIS BROTHERS: Mexican Miramba players who introduce high class and popular numbers very effectively . Distinct hit throughout and a good strong finish. Olio in one, 18 minutes. (Toledo) EDWARD ABELES & CHARLOTTE LANDERSK: In comedy "He Tried To Be Nice". This is a very excellent lefitimate number presented by an unusally capable pair. There were laughs throughout, the closest attention was given and the finish was very strong. Fancy in three, 232 minutes. (Newark, N.J.) WALTER KELLY: A great big hit. Conservatory in one, 19 minutes. (Syracuse) HICKEY'S COMEDY CIRCUS: Two ponies and two trick mules. Act was a riot. Comedy fine. Act one of the biggest hits we have ever played in this houes. Wood in five, 11 minutes. (Toledo) MOTION PICTURES: O.K.
