23 BOSTON SHOW WEEK JANUARY 6, 1912. (R. G. Larson.) THREE NEVARROS. 13 minutes f.s. A mighty good opening act. Started the show off in good shape. Close in one. CARTNELL and HARRIS. 15 minutes f.s. One of the best dancing acts, man and woman, that we palyk and altogether too good for an early spot on a bill. Went big. FRANK STAFFORD & CO. "A Hunter's Game." 19 minutes f.s. special set. Stafford has introduced a lot of new stuff since seen here, and every minute of his act is interesting. CLIFFORD and BURKE. Did not show up to-day on account of a delayed train, and Corcoman and Dixon were put in in their place and made one of the hits of the bill. ANN CREWE & CO IN THE FIRST ONE-ACT HARVARD PLAY PASSED BY THE DRAMATIC DEPARTMENT OF THE COLLEGE AS WORTHY OF PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTION. "THAT CASE OF THE JONESES," by Florence J. Lewis. This is the story of a suffragette wife who is admitted to the bar, unknown to her husband. Complications arise but all ends happily. There are four people in the cast, all well known on Broadway. Miss Crewe, who has the lading part, was last in "Over Night," and before that with Sothern and Marlowe. The sketch goes along with snap, holds the interest, and finished big at both shows to-day. This act is being boosted by Harvard people and they claim their influence reaches all over the country. Just how good the claim is, I cannot say. 15 minutes f.s. CLARICE VANCE. 21 minutes in one. Miss Vance has gone back since she last appeared here, but she still has lots of friends, judging by the reception she got and her finish. ROCK and FULTON. 23 minutes f.s. special set. This is a most elaborate act and a good one, but somehow or other Rock and Fulton don't seem to strike our audiences as it would seem they should. Although the act held the interest and went through in good shape, it seemed unable to "get" the people good. WARREN and KEEFE. 18 minutes in one. A good singing and talking act and filled a very hard spot very acceptably. REED BROTHERS. 15 minutes in two. Opened a little slow, but turned out to be one of the best acts of the kind we have played in a long time. CUTS. Clarice Vance - "Songs "If you talk in your sleep" and "My Pullman Porter Man."
