HIPPODROME SHOW WEEK JAN. 15, 1912. LOUIS STONE, The Topsy turvy Dancer. Act is a novelty. Drop in 2 10 minutes. (Detroit) THE FOUR SOLIS BROTHERS, Matchless Mexican Musicians. Another novelty. This time in a musical line. Libral applause. Drop on one. 16 min. (Binghamton) THE LANGDONS, "A Night on the Boulevard". Man and woman. Special scenery and a lot of novelty light effects. Went very well and finished strong. Full stage 19 min. (Richmond) SISTERS MEREDITH, "The Maids Who Made Hiawatha Famous". This act is well known. Same line of stuff they have always done. Carry a lot of special scenery. Go from 1 to full stage and back. (Toledo) GORDON AND MARX, Two Real German Comedians. This act is only fair. Most of their stuff is old. Act received less applause than any act on bill. Just fair. Drop in one 14 min. (Columbus) W. H. MURPHY, BLANCHE NICHOLS AND COMPANY, "From Zaza to Uncle Tom". This act is known in every Keith Theatre. Probably the laughing hit of show. 26 min. full stage. (New York) CHARLEY CASE, The Man who talks about his father. Did not appear. Tried to come from St. Louis, Mo. Nothing but an airship will allow an act to make that jump. ROSE ROYAL AND HER FAMOUS POSING AND STATUE HORSE. Work full stage in special plush drop. A very beautiful act but not suited to Hippodrome stage. About one half the audience saw this act. 10 minutes full stage. (Erie) H. A. Daniels REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. 3 days Thurs, Fri & Sat Jan 18-19-20 David R. Buffinton GARRY & REVERE Singing and dancing, very nicely dressed act, singing and dancing ordinary, man and woman, 9 minutes in one, just went fair ZISKER & SAUNDERS Man and woman, Magician and singer, some good tricks and some good comedy, neatly dressed and went very good, 17 minutes C. D. F. JOHN GEIGER One of the acts that is here all week, going big at every performance 6 ABDALLAHS 6 men, whirlwind acrobats and tumblers, Big Hit at every show. All week.
