B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. BOSTON SHOW, WEEK FEBRUARY 19 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) Monday Night Show. FRANK and TRUE RICE. 7 minutes in two. Garden. A first-rate tumbling act with some good comedy bits. Opened the show in very good shape. CLIFFORD WALKER. 14 minutes in one. Walker's act is hardly lively enough for #2 spot, with the audience coming in. I have no doubt he would go very much better further down on the bill, but unfortunately, owing to the make-up of the show, we are unable to put him down. Did fairly well to-night, but his line of stuff is too quiet for an early spot. DEWITT, BURNS and TORRANCE. 15 minutes f.s. special set. These people have added a new set of scenery since they last appeared in Boston, as well as some new business. Went very well at both shows to-day. KATE WATSON. 12 minutes in one. Garden. Miss Watson has added considerable new material since her last appearance here. To-day she had them laughing at both shows, and closed very well. BERT KALMAR and JESSIE BROWN. 18 minutes f.s. special draperies with 5 minutes close in one. One of the daintiest and prettiest dancing acts we play. Went very well this afternoon, and were nothing short of a great big hit to-night. FRANKLYN ARDELL CO. 18 minutes f.s. C. D. F. Playing "The Suffragette," and a riot of laughter from start to finish. EL COTA. 18 minutes olio in one. Unquestionably the best xylophone player we have. Held this spot in excellent shape at both shows to-day. NORA BAYES and JACK NORWORTH. 50 minutes f.s. Palace. Their "Musical Surprise Party" fully justified its name to-day, judging by the manner in which these people were received. We sold out the house at both performances, and the audiences were loath to allow them to leave the stage. Every number was strongly applauded, and their finish was very, very big. CUTS. Franklyn Ardell - joke about "crowd of boys and woman policeman" - "women firemen and boys ringing in false alarm" - "What were you doing out so late at night" gag.
