B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of March 3, 1912. PEDERSEN BROS: 6 min. F. S.- One clown, one straight. Flying rings. The clown does a couple of startling feats, one of which, called the "Pedersen trick" is simply astonishing. A terrific hit - Thunderous applause at the close. Act much too strong for either an opener or closer, and should be in the middle of the bill; would put it there if program would allow such a readjustment, but, unfortunately, it does not. Our show is rather a short one, and we are going up five minutes later in order to let everybody see the Pedersens. ACT OPEN NEXT WEEK: ADDRESS HOTEL WALTON, CINCINNATI. WILLIAMS & SEGAL: Man and woman; 10 minutes in one. Dancing. Clever and neat. Went good. Act goes to MEMPHIS. SIX BROWN BROS: Comedy musicians - 19 min. Open 9 min. F. S., close 10 min. in one. Five straight, one black face comedy. They play trombones, chimes and close in one with saxophone specialties, the latter being a big hit and calling for many encores. A rattling good act. GO TO LOUISVILLE. BYRON & LANGDON: In "The Dude Detective". 15 min. F. S. Much was expected from this act. It has been in this house several times, but not for two or three seasons. Heretofore it has always been a riot. Sunday matinee it fell down, there being scarcely any response from the audience at any time. In the hope of having the act go better, it was changed from fourth to third position Sunday night, as the first and second acts are dumb acts. At the matinee the third act was the Six Brown Bros., at the close of which the audience seemed exhausted from its applause. The change Sunday night helped the Byron & Langdon act, but it did not come within anything of scoring the hit expected. Byron's song, "I Lost Another Chance to be a Hero", which in past seasons has been a riot, here, was received indifferently. Both Mr. Byron and Miss Langdon work hard, but for some reason, which is not apparent, the manner in which their act was received is a disappointment, and instead of being the strongest feature of the bill, it is about the weakest, from the standpoint of the audience. Act goes to TOLEDO. JONES & MAYO: Impersonations. 21 min. in one. Their impersonations, particularly of Junie McCree, Sam Bernard and Montgomery & Stone, are very good. Went good. Act goes to MADISON, WIS. FANNY WARD & CO. Sketch. "What the Doctor Ordered". 24 min. F. S. A clever little sketch, cleverly presented, with a lively, laughing finish. Act is full of laughs. Went good. ACT OPEN NEXT WEEK: ADDRESS THIS WEEK HAVLIN HOTEL, CIN. O. CHARLES & FANNY VAN: Comedy sketch, entitled "A Case of Emergency". 18 min. in one. Lots of fun, and many hearty laughs. Went very good. Act holds this spot nicely. Act goes to MEMPHIS. SEVEN BELFORDS: Acrobatic act. 7 min. F. S. Some good stunts - very fast work. Good closer. Went good. OPEN NEXT WEEK - ADDRESS WALTON HOTEL, CINCINNATI, O. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 14 minutes. Good. REMARKS: As a whole, the show is a rattling good one. Acts three and four exchanged places, causing an improvement. C. L. Doran.
