REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK MARCH 4, 192---W.W. [PROSSER?] REED BROTHERS: Ring and other aerial work. The stunts in themselves are good and very well presented. A lot of alleged comedy, talk and stalling could be well eliminated. They become tiresome through dragging things out too long. Won applause at various points, pleased generally and finished fairly well. C.D.F. in three, 16 minutes. (Toledo) CARTER & BLUFORD: Man and woman, (colored) in a series of character songs. Had a hard time in this early spot and just about got by. There was nothing doing the early part of the number. Toward the end they picked up and managed to finish fairly strong. Olio and specials in one, 16 min. (Toledo) JOE KENO & ROSIE GREEN: Comedy, talking and dancing number. Opened pretty well, improved very rapidly and finally took the house by storm, rounding out a great bit hit. C.D.F. in three, street in one, 21 minutes. (Toledo) MR AND MRS PERKINS FISHER: In the "Half-Way House". Same excellent offering as of yore. Many a laugh and thorough appreciation. Held the closest attention and scored a good finish. Special and Kitchen in three, 20 minutes. (Open) LEON ROGEE: Instrumental imitator and whistler. Had everything his own way from the beginning, went big throughout and finished very strong. Olio in one, 9 minutes (Toledo) PIANOPHIENDS: Five men and four women, using give pianos and featuring Ben Linn and Ila Grannon. All in all a very acceptable act, with individual hits for Linn and Grannon. This number seems to drag a trifle and might be whooped up a bit. Very good impression throughout and strong finish. Palace in four. 26 minutes. (Pittsburgh) BUD FISHER: Originator of Mutt and Jeff. Applause on entering. Undivided attention throughout and a good strong finish. Garden and special in two, 15 min. (New York) HERZOG'S HORSES: A very excellent offering of its kind. Classy and capably presented. Solo and ensemble work gained liberal applause. Fine throughout with a very strong finish. Terrace in five, 17 minutes. (Detroit) MOTION PICTURE: Pathe Weekly, O.K.
