REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK MARCH 11--1912---W.W. PROSSER EDDIE MACK & DOT WILLIAMS: Novelty dancing act which made a fairly good opener. Moderately strong finish. C.D.F. in three, 17 minutes. (Toledo) LAURA BUCKLEY: Impersonater who did very well. Appreciation general. Good finish. Olio in one, 17 minutes. (Syracuse) JOHNES & DEELEY: In "Hotel Reckless". Big laughing hit. Liberal applause and a very strong finish. Special in two, street in one, 19 minutes. (Atlanta) DAN BURKE & GIRLS: Pleasing but that was about all. No marked approval, yet not tiresome. Finished fairly well. Special in four, 15 minutes. (Toledo) MORRIS & ALLEN: Hebrew parodists. Exceptionally good voices. Songs caught on in good shape. Weakest spot in the act is the talk. All in all, a thorough success. Strong finish. Olio in one, 14 minutes. (Toledo) EDGAR ATCHISON -ELY: In "Billy's Tombstones", a thoroughly enjoyable comedy. Plenty of laughter. Held interest throughout and scored a strong finish. Special in 2 1/2, 27 minutes. (Cleveland.) JAMES H. CULLEN: Went very well and scored heavily, notwithstanding a bad cold which gave him considerable trouble. Finished very well. Olio in one, 16 min. (Hamilton, Ont.) DOLORES VALLECTIA AND LEOPARDS: This act gave thorough satisfaction, holding practically the entire audience to the end. Strong finish with bows. Palace in 5, 12 minutes. PATHE WEEKLY: O.K.
