C. E. BARNS. PHILADELPHIA SHOW. MARCH 18, 1912. ISHIKAWA BROS. 11 min. F. S. A somewhat different Jap act, paying particular attention to equilibristic work. Strong enough to close almost any bill but makes us a fine opener with the big show. Received strong applause and closed well. ALFREDO. 14 min. in one. This act could hold a much better spot on the bill, as he is an exceptional violinist and puts his work over with lots of life and go. Was very well received and closed very good. CARTMELL & HARRIS. 12 min. F.S. Well known on the circuit and one of the best dancing acts in vaudeville. Went very strong with everybody thoroughly satisfied. FAY, 2 COLEYS & FAY. 13 min. in one. This is their first appearance in this house. They opened well, got a lot of good laughs with their comedy surprises. In fact, made a hit with the Tanguay crowd. Closed strong. EDWIN STEVENS. "Cousin Kitty." 20 min. F.S. Stevens varied his excellent act somewhat from its last appearance here. He is always an artist and is ably supported by Miss Marshall. A very classy feature on any bill. Closed strong. PRIMROSE FOUR. 12 min. in one. Advance applause. These boys have always been very popular with our audiences and with their new selection of songs. Caught the crowd very well. Gave four selections, all of which were strongly applauded. Closed exceptionally well.wi MASON-KEELER & CO. "In and Out." 31 min. One of the greatest laughing sketches we have ever had here. In fact, it starts with a laugh and winds up with a positive uproar. Everything good that has been said about this act has been thoroughly justified. Closed very strong. EVA TANGUAY. 23 min. in one. Miss Tanguay's popularity in this town was again strongly demonstrated by immense advance applause and the rousing big hand after each one of her selections, some of which were new and one or two old favorites, including the closing number, "I Don't Care," which was received uproariously. Eva remains the big card here and will undoubtedly draw as full houses as on her previous engagements. THREE ERNESTS. 8 min. F. S. All three men work eccentric, one of them in woman's costume. Use triple bar and bounding mat all put up in showman-like style. Their work is very fast, exceedingly expert and with an abundance of rough-house comedy which kept the audience in roars of laughter. Closed very strong. Makes an ideal closer for any bill. KINETOGRAPH. "Dr. Twostep's Prescription." Mighty good comedy film. GENERAL REMARKS. An overwhelming show that would be very hard to duplicate at any season of the year and certainly should guarantee us immense business. Opened to absolute capacity all over the house.
