B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of Mar. 17, 1912. ERGOTTI & LILLUPUTIANS: 8 min. F. S. some great acrobatic work done by the two little men, assisted by Ergotti. - Really sensational stunts, with a great flying Dutchman finish, Ergotti supporting the beam with his feet, and the midgets swinging from either end. Act too good for an opener, but have no other place to put it. Went big. ST. LOUIS. JANE BOYNTON & MARIE MEYERS: "The Piano Girl and her Violinist". 16 minutes in one. Violin, piano and songs. Very clever and classy. Went big. MEMPHIS. SAGER MIDGLEY & CO.: Comedy sketch. 17 min. F. S. The broken mirror reflection act is a novelty and a big hit. One long laugh from beginning to end. Went big. LOUISVILLE. FOUR FORDS: Dancers. 20 min. F. S., with three changes of scenery and costumes. Own set. Advance hand. Same act as last year with some additions that make it better. Very classy throughout. A tremendous hit. LOUSIVILLE. JOSIE HEATHER: English comedienne. Songs. 15 minutes in one. More clever than ever, and a great big hit. LOUISVILLE. AGNES SCOTT & HENRY KEANE: Sketch entitled "Drifting". 16 minutes full stage, own set. Advance hand. Same sketch as last season. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful sketch. Big hit. MILWAUKEE. NAT M. WILLS: "The Happy Tramp". 27 min. in one. Big advance hand. New songs, parodies and stories. One big loud scream from beginning to end. Biggest hit Wills ever made here. CLEVELAND. LA TITCOMB: "Singer on horseback". 13 min. F. S. own set. Appears on white horse in white costume, with black plush drop in background; with pretty light effects makes very effective setting. Same act as last season. Went big. CLEVELAND. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. Equitable Building fire. 10 minutes. Show out at 4:45 and 10:45. REMARKS: Every act is a hit - The biggest and best show this season. Went very big at both Sunday performances. Jane Boynton & Marie Meyers missed their wardrobe, and appeared in their street attire at both Sunday performances. This apparently contributed much to the hit they made, and they will be advised to continue that way. Between acts 3 and 4 we ran Sunday three St. Patrick Day slides, accompanied by Irish melodies from the orchestra. Made big hit. We are also running, between those same acts, a series of pictures of the presidential candidates, preceeded by the following slide: "Candidates for President. Applaud your favorite." The slides then come in the following order: Underwood - Clark - Wilson - Bryan - Harmon - Cummings - Hughes - La Follette - Roosevelt - Taft. All are applauded, but the principal applause is for Wilson, Bryan and Harmon for Democrats, and Roosevelt and Taft for the Republicans. We are closing with Taft, giving him the preference because this is his home city. This is attracting much attention and lots of talk about town, and ought to bring in some business right along. The idea is to run them indefinitely. Time- five minutes. We are advertising it as one of the attractions, and call it "Presidential Preference Primary". C. L. Doran.
