B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. Week of March 24th, 1912. PAULHAM TEAM: Basket ball on bicycles. 11 minutes F. S. Two men on each side, with a fifth man as master of ceremonies. One side represents America, the other England. Each side makes two goals, working up quite a little excitement, and America wins the final goal. Quite a novelty.- Rapid action throughout. Went good. MEMPHIS. PATSY DOYLE: Droll humorist. 11 minutes in one. Songs and stories. Same act as last year. Once for Doyle's act is enough. Went only fair. CHICAGO. BROWN, HARRIS & BROWN: Comedy. 26 minutes, opening 17 minutes in two, closing 9 minutes in one. Same old act, "Hank" Brown being about the whole thing. A big laughing riot. Close after this week. Address Riverside Park, Providence, R. I. FLORENTINE SINGERS: Four men and four women. Open 17 minutes F. S., close 6 minutes in one. Own set, own drop. Operatic and popular selections in solo, trio and ensemble. Pretty costumes. Very refined and classy act. Went big, and Sunday audiences wanted more. OPEN NEXT WEEK - THEN TO INDIANAPOLIS. "PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY" (SLIDES:) Slides of presidential candidates. 5 minutes. Still meeting with much applause, and continue popular. Will add to list this week slides of Beveridge, Gaynor, Marshall and James. JONES & GRANT: Colored comedians. 21 minutes in one. Lots of good laughs. Went good. OPEN NEXT WEEK. Will go to New York if don't fill. SIDNEY DREW & CO.: Dramatic one-act play "The Still Voice". 23 minutes F. S. Their own set was destroyed by fire in the East, and we used the house act very satisfactorily. This sketch is probably the most powerful and intense dramatic playlet ever presented in this house, this applying not only to the excellence of the sketch itself, but the manner in which it was produced. The acting throughout is very fine, particularly that of Mr. Sidney Drew as Matthew Steele, the wealthy old villain. Went big. CHICAGO. TROVATO: Eccentric violinist. A bigger hit than ever. Regular time given as 12 minutes; audience kept him 14, and then did not want to let him go. HARTFORD, CONN. M'LLE de FALLIERES: & DOGS: 11 min. F. S. A dozen little terrie[r]s and poodles, that do some clever tricks. Act prettily staged. Went good. MEMPHIS. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 10 minutes. Good. Sunday matinee out at 5:09. Show cut twenty minutes in acts of Paulham Team, Patsy Doyle, Jones & Grant and pictures. C. L. Doran.
