150 REPORT OM COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK MARCH 25, 1912-----W.W. PROSSER. BELLE ONRO: Novelty trapeze artists. Works fast, pleasing in appearance and made a very good impression. Scattered applause and a very good finish for an act of this kind. Palace in four, 7 min. (Newark, N.J.) McCORMACK & IRVING: Man and woman in a Mack-Walker sort of offering which made quite a favorable impression. Work consists of songs and talk and is termed "Flirtology". Got along very nicely throughout, scoring strongly in spots and finishing very well. Olio in one, 14 minutes. (Open) THE THREE KEATONS: This well-known family was a genuine hit, going bigger than than at any time they have ever played this house. The audience howled with delight, and, notwithstanding the unusual amount of time consumed, the act at no time became tiresome. Thoroughly strong finish. Rocky pass and cottage in four, closes in one, 30 minutes. (Open) BERT WHEELER & CO: Two men, one woman in a novelty juggling number, "Fun On The Boulevard". Taking into consideration the fact that the preceding act took about all the laughs there were in the house, this number did very well, gaining appreciation, winning applause and scoring a moderately strong finish. Special in four, 10 minutes. (Cleveland) WILLETTE WHITAKER: Assisted by F. Wilbur Hill, the later working in the pit. Miss Whitaker's songs and harp numbers went excellently, and the assistance of Hill was all that could be desired. Moderately strong finish. Special plus drop in one, 14 minutes. (Harrington, N.J.) THE POLICE INSPECTOR: Dramatic sketch, four men, one woman. A sort of Third Degree affair, with a murder as the theme. Very well presented, and apparently interesting, but an unpleasant topic. Won appreciation and scored a very good finish. Special set in three, 21 minutes. (Syracuse) COCK & LORENZ: Well-known comedy team. Experienced some difficulty in getting things into the right swing, but finally did so, and then got along very well. Laughter in abundance and a moderately strong finish. Street in one, conservatory in two, olie in one, 21 minutes. (Syracuse) MEEHAN'S DOGS: Well-known animal offering which proved an acceptable closer. Good finish. Landscape in five, 13 minutes. (Chicago) MOVING PICTURE: Pathe Weekly, O.K.
