REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK APRIL 1, 1912--W.W. PROSSER. DuCALION: European monologistic Equilibrist. Very excellent ladder stunt, with a line of high class and humorous accompaniment. Decidedly novel and one that made a genuinely favorable impression. Finished very strong. Conservatory in two, 17 minutes. (Pittsburgh) RONAIR & WARD: Man and woman in a singing, talking and dancing skit, "Ocean Breezes". A very likable number which held attention throughout gaining liberal applause at various points and finished strong. Special drop in one, 15 minutes. (Hamilton, Ontario) COLLEGE TRIO: Three young men presenting "The Rehearsal". Singing, piano playing and comedy constitutes the work. Made good in every sense of the term. Liberal applause and strong finish. Dark, Fancy in 2 1/2, street in one, 23 minutes. (Detroit) ROONEY & BENT: In their old skit "The Busy Bell Boy". Did the best they ever have in this house. A success throughout. Encores and strong finish. Library in three, 18 minutes. (Cincinnati) HARRIETT BURT: Sings several songs, doing well with all. Opened moderately well, improved as she went along and worked up to a fine finish. Olio in one, 14 minutes. (Pittsburgh) MRS LOUIS JAMES & COMPANY: Two women and one man in a comedy offering, "Holding A Husband". A new treatment of the triangular domestic situation. Held undivided attention and scored heavily throughout. Fine finish. Light, Fancy, in three, 16 minutes. (Memphis) CONLIN, STEELE & CARR: Presenting "Fresh From College". This well-known trio made a good-sized hit, notwithstanding the preceding numbers had a tendency to make it hard. Thoroughly O.K. Strong finish. Olio in one, 16 minutes. (Toledo) FOUR LONDONS: Held them to the finish and again scored as about the best act of its kind of the present day. Strong finish. Palace in five, 6 minutes. (Toledo) MOVING PICTURE: Pathe Weekly, O.K.
