B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of April 7th, 1912. J. WARREN KEANE & CO.: Sleight of hand tricks. 15 min. F. S., own drop. Keane does some very clever work, particularly his card tricks, and puts them over with an entertaining and humorous line of patter. At intervals Miss Grace White plays the piano. Went good. OPEN NEXT WEEK - GO TO NEW YORK. PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE SLIDES: Picture sheet. 4 minutes. Time can be doubled, if necessary. We are now running slides of Underwood, Clarke, Wilson, Harmon, Bryan, James, Marshall, Gaynor and Foss, Democrats; Cummings, Hughes, La Follette, Beveridge, Roosevelt and Taft, Republicans. The bulk of the applause is now confined to Wilson, Harmon, Roosevelt and Taft. Still going as good and producing as much applause as ever. PAT ROONEY & MARION BENT: Sketch, "The Busy Bell Boy". Open 12 min. F. S., closing 6 minutes in one. Very clever comedy, and Rooney's dancing went big. One of the hits of the show. INDIANAPOLIS. AMELIA BINGHAM & CO.: In selections from "Madame Sans-Gene" and "The Climbers". 31 minutes in all, "Madame Sans-Gene" being full stage, palace, 17 minutes, and "The Climbers" being full stage, snow scene 11 minutes, with an intermission of 3 minutes during which Miss Bingham makes the announcement for her second scene. Advance hand for Miss Bingham at both Sunday performances. "Madame Sans-Gene" went very big. "The Climbers" also scored, and, as a whole, the act is a bigger success than we anticipated. OPEN NEXT WEEK. BESSIE WYNN: Songs. 25 minutes in one. Advance hand. Miss Wynn has several new songs, all very good. She is a big favorite here, and is maintaining it. ATLANTA, GA. TOM NAWN & CO.: In the sketch "When Pat was King". 25 min., full stage, own set. Same sketch that has been here before. Most of our regulars have seen it, and are tiring of it. Mr. Nawn should get something new. However, it went good. CHICAGO. KELLER MACK & FRANK ORTH: In a comedy sketch called "The Wrong Hero", which serves some laughing chatter to accompany their songs. One man at piano. Own drop. They have some rattling good songs, and the act scored a hit. ST. LOUIS. CUNNINGHAM & MARION: Acrobatic talk fest. 10 minutes in one. Some exceedingly clever acrobatic stunts, during which the men carry on a conversation that adds to the enjoyment of the act. Went good. INDIANAPOLIS. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 16 minutes. Good. REMARKS: The show, as a whole, is a very good one, but did not seem to go any too well Sunday matinee. The bill was re-arranged as follows: J. Warren Keane & Co.; Presidential Preference Primary; Tom Nawn & Co.; Cunningham & Marion; Rooney & Bent; Mack & Orth; Bessie Wynn; Amelia Bingham & Co. This re-arrangement caused it to go very much better Sunday night. Show out Sunday matinee at 5:12- shortened 17 minutes. NOTE: On SAturday and Sunday we had the lobby profusely decorated with Easter lilies, white and lavender lilacs and other blooming plants and numerous palms, also Easter flowers in the two ladies retiring rooms. Looked very beautiful and caused favorable comment.
