B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. BOSTON SHOW - WEEK APRIL 22 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) LEROY and PAUL. 7 minutes f.s. Garden. A very fair opening act. Some clever work on the bars, and quite a little comedy. LEW BRICE and LILLIAN GONNE. 13 minutes in one. Olio. This is Lillian Gonne and a young chap from Gus Edwards' "School Boys & Girls," and it may be truthfully said that little Miss Gonne had not passed her examinations before she left the "School Kids" to try a turn in one with a partner. She was disappointing, but got by. BERT HOWARD and EFFIE LAWRENCE. 19 minutes in two. Special drop. They are now doing a hotel cigar counter act, Miss Lawrence changing to a scrubwoman character, which proved to be one of the best things she has done. A very good act. NATE LEIPZIG. 18 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Far and away the best of the card manipulators, and he went strong for an act of this kind. "THE COURTIERS." 28 minutes f.s. Special set. One of the best repeats in a musical act we have had in a long time. HARRY H. RICHARDS and BESSIE KYLE. 14 minutes in one. Special drop. The action of this sketch takes place outside of a clubhouse, and has good comedy all through it. Finishing with a song, and introducing a boy bell hop who is quite a part of the act. A very valuable act in one. "AN OPENING NIGHT." 41 minutes f.s. Three special sets. Open and close in f.s. This is unquestionably one of the best novelties we have played this season. It caught the audience from the start, surprises were being sprung every minute, the game of "Zim Zam" has the audience going, and it seems to me that this is one of the acts that should draw business. NO CUTS.
