B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. BOSTON SHOW - WEEK APRIL 29 - 1912. (R. G. Larsen.) (Monday night show.) ROSAIRE and DORETO. 8 minutes f.s. Special drop. A very fair opening act. Some of the men's tumbling is really good, and considerable comedy is introduced. TOONEY and NORMAN. 11 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. A man and woman, in songs, talk, and eccentric dancing. Both are clever dancers, and they woke things up in good shape at both shows today. TROVOLLO. 23 minutes f.s. 4 minutes close in one. Special set. This ventriloquist has brightened up his act with several new dummies and quite a little new material. Went well at both shows today. B. A. ROLFE and 'THE ROLFONIANS." 27 minutes f.s. Special set. 7 minutes close in one. One of the best of the musical acts. All the numbers were applauded, and they finished big, being compelled to give an encore. "HAZEL WESTON" or "MORE SINNED AGAINST THAN USUAL." 40 minutes f.s. Miniature stage and four special sets. This is one great comedy act. The audience seemed to catch the spirit of the thing from the very start, and the laughter was almost incessant. The illustrated songs went over big, and the dancing finish was very strong. The man who plays the old farmer was out of the cast to-day on account of illness, and his place was taken by Everett Shinn, the author. Mr Shinn filled the part very acceptably, and I doubt if any in the audience were aware that he had never been on the stage before. We expect to have the regular man back in the part to-morrow. THREE LEIGHTONS. 18 minutes in one. Special drop. Doing their new act, "The Party of the Second Part." I consider this new vehicle better than the old one, and it has the added advantage of being entirely in one. They held this hard spot in great shape, and closed big with their dancing. WARTENBURG BROTHERS. 9 minutes f.s. Cut Garden. Foot-jugglers. A very good novelty sight act that held the audience in remarkably well. The various feats were applauded, and they closed well.
