REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW WEEK APRIL 29, 1912--W.W. PROSSER. JOHN HIGGINS: Novelty jumper. Very interesting number, capably presented. Won applause after each trick and finished very strong, giving thorough satisfaction. Garden in four, 11 minutes. (Open) GRAY TRIO: Two women and one man. Singing with piano. Decidedly successful, scoring heavily throughout and finishing strong. Olio in one 15 minutes. (Open) CAESAR RIVOLI: Well-known Protean artist who made a favorable impression throughout. Finished strong. Special in one, C.D.F. in three, and close in one. 16 minutes. (Philiadelphia) DOROTHY RUSSELL & CO: One woman and three men in a variety singing and instrumental number. From advance reports, not much was expected of this act. Did quite well, and all in all was pleasing. Not a big hit, but got by in nice shape. Finished moderately strong. Palace in four, Special in two, 18 minutes. (New York) JOHN & MAE BURKE: Well-known comedy number which proved a fun riot. Plenty of laughter and liberal applause. Strong finish. Special in one, C.D.F. in three, olio in one, 19 minutes. (Pittsburgh) AGNES SCOTT & HENRY KEANE: In "Drifting". Same beautiful act as before, faultlessly played. Held undivided attention throughout and finished strong. A credit to any bill. Special in five. (Pittsburgh) J. FRANCIS DOOLEY: Went great as a "single", proving the laughing hit of the bill. Had everything his own way throughout, taking bow after bow at the finish. Street in one, 23 minutes. (Cleveland) DELMORE & LEE: In "Studies in Black and White". A very fine aerial offering which held closest attention, winning applause all along the line. Strong finish. Special in five, 15 minutes. (Philiadelphia) MOTION PICTURES: Pathe Weekly, O.K.
