B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of May 5th, 1912. TWO DARE BROS: Refined athletes. 9 minutes, F. S. Some very good, new tricks. Went good. OPEN NEXT WEEK - IN CINCINNATI IF DON'T FILL. CHARLES F. SEAMAN: Comedy musician. 18 minutes in one. Same old act with freak musical instruments. Lots of laughs. Went good. LOUISVILLE. TIM McMAHON & EDITH CHAPPELLE: In their old sketch, "Why Hubby Missed the Train". 15 minutes in two, own drop. This is the same old sketch, with the concluding song and dance eliminated.- The omission is said to be owing to Miss Chappelle's injured foot. Some good laughs. Went good. McMahon's drop is worn out and in bad condition. He said this was its last week, but we have substituted our own street drop for it. NEW YORK. GRAHAM MOFFAT'S SCOTTISH PLAYERS in "THE CONCEALED BED": Sketch - 32 min. F. S. There are five people in the act. It is slow, draggy and tiresome, and there is hardly anything to it. Went only fair Sunday matinee, and somewhat better Sunday night. WINNIPEG, CANADA. MAUD LAMBERT & ERNEST BALL: Miss Lambert with songs, and Mr. Ball at the piano. 21 minutes in one. A big hit. Best thing in the show. ST. LOUIS. PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY: 3 min. Going as good as ever, with Clark, Wilson, Roosevelt and Taft getting the bulk of the applause. JOE WELCH: Monologue, entitled "A Study from Life", in the character of a Hebrew. 26 min. in one. One continued big laugh. NEW YORK. "CHEYENNE DAYS": Six men and one woman, and three horses. roping, broncho-busting, etc. The company keeps things lively from start to finish, and there is some splendid roping and riding of the bucking horse. Good act and lively finisher. OPEN NEXT WEEK. B. F. KEITHOSCOPE: Pathe's weekly. 13 minutes. REMARKS: With the exception of Chas. F. Seaman, Lambert & Ball, Joe Welch, and "Cheyenne Days", the show is not good. There is apparently nothing in it that would draw any business this time of the year, with baseball every day this week, the May Festival all week, Ringling's Circus two days, and every other big theatre in town running picture shows. C. L. Doran. NOTE: Order of show changed as follows: 1 - Dare Bros. 2 - McMahon & Chappelle 3 - Concealed Bed 4 - Charles F. Seaman 5 - Lambert & Ball 6 - Presidential Preference Primary 7 - Joe Welch 8 - Cheyenne Days
